365 – A photo per day for a year

Finally, I’ve decided to commit myself into doing an open-topic 365 project. It has been a long time coming, In the last month I have been slacking off and I have just left my camera sitting in the bag. So I have decided to motivate myself with committing to a photo per day for a year project. I will take a photo that will sum up a day of my life for a year. I figured this project will bring my creativity back in line. For those of who don’t know what 365 project is, please read on

365?

365 personal project is? Hmm It is kind of pointless of me to repeat what it’s already said and done so head over to Photojojo and read on. Also you can find a great article on Digital Photography School about 365 days and how it jump starts your creativity.
Just in case you were wondering how I took this portrait photo of myself, I didn’t. All the credit goes my girlfriend. She is the one that took the photo. She did a very good job even though she doesn’t believe so. She caught me off guard when I was putting on my camera back pack one day when we went out to Lake Michigan to enjoy a nice sunny day in Chicago.

Featured Art at RedBubble

RedBubble, a very popular art gallery and community has featured my Venetian picture. I’m very excited about this since not all art gets featured, in fact there is very little and only creative work gets featured. There are judges that review newly posted art and if they see creativity the art would gets featured. I shot this picture when I was on vacation in Las Vegas at the Venetian Resort. Back then I still had my nice Nikon D40 which isn’t a bad camera, but my Nikon D90 does the job better in double the pixels. More about RedBubble just after the break

Here is great shot that I snapped with my blackberry phone at the pier shops in atlantic city when I was on vacation. I love the reflection in the water and the silhouettes just complete the whole picture.

Half of the web site is completed. Still uploading images into the galleries. Sadly I have not set a scheduled date of completion, but can I say, I still have a regular job that I have to go to every day.
